Blessed
Numbers 6:24-27 “‘May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.’ Whenever Aaron and his sons bless the people of Israel in my name, I myself will bless them.”
I love this morning’s passage from Numbers. It is a blessing that Aaron and his sons were instructed to pray over Israel, God’s chosen people.
It came with a promise that whenever that prayer was prayed, God would bless them, too.
God promises us a more abundant life if we follow him, too. Our lives will be enhanced and blessed by our obedience. I love Philippians 4:6-7 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
If you are stressed today, tell God what you need, then thank him! The thankfulness is as important as the asking. It reminds us of the goodness of God and builds our faith.
You are blessed, indeed.
