Broken Cups
During the COVID lockdown Remnant did a series called Beautifully Broken. The song we used was Beautifully Broken by Plumb, and I still struggle to get through it without crying.
Lately, God has been bringing me back to the idea of being beautifully broken. Like the Japanese art of Kintsugi, God is able to take a cup that is broken and left for the scrap heap, and make it beautiful again.
My own life is in the rebuilding phase right now. I have no idea where it will take me, or what my life will look like when God is done, but I do know this: God doesn’t make junk, so I am looking for beauty!
Below is the link to a sermon I preached as part of the series, called Broken Cups. I don’t usually share sermon video, but this seemed right today. If you are broken, hang in there, God can, and will, start the restoration process!
