Revelation 9:20 But the people who did not die in these plagues still refused to repent of their evil deeds and turn to God. They continued to worship demons and idols made of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood—idols that can neither see nor hear nor walk!
Today’s verse is part of a passage where some terrible things have been unleashed upon the earth in the end times:
Five months of torture from locust stings. Stings so bad the people cried out to die, but didn’t.
200 million mounted angels rode horses that spewed sulphur, smoke and fire killed 1/3 of the people on the planet.
Still, the hard hearted and rebellious refused to turn from their sin. Little do they know more destruction is coming.
You would think that after seeing God’s wrath that they would change their ways, but nope, they remain rebellious.
You might not think you are rebelling against God. I hear people say all the time, “I’m not against God, I’m just doing my own thing.” I’ve got bad news for you, you’re rebelling. Revolt is revolt whether it is militant, blatant rebellion or quiet, respectable indifference.
Jesus said, Matthew 12:30 “Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me.”
It is time to choose a side. One leads to eternal life, the other leads to pain and suffering. Choose wisely.
