Proverbs 30:2 I am too stupid to be human, and I lack common sense.
For years when I have said or done something stupid, and believe me it has happened a lot, I have muttered, “I’m too stupid to live!”
So imagine my surprise when today’s verse backed it up! I guess I am deeper than I thought…
We all have times when we feel like a loser. We say something at the wrong time and hurt someone’s feelings. We are the only one in the room that didn’t get the joke. We made a blunder at work that causes work for others. The list goes on and on. If you’ve never felt like you did something stupid, you probably just haven’t been paying attention.
So what now? Are we stuck feeling stupid? Are we really losers?
Nope!
Romans 8:37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
We can never be losers if we live in Christ! When you mess up, and you will, remember this phrase: I win or I learn. Winning is good, and there are times when losing is better, because we learn how to succeed. So get up, dust off your britches and try again. You’re only a loser if you give up!
