Nonsense!
Luke 24:11
But the story sounded like nonsense to the men, so they didn’t believe it.
Jesus had died on the cross. It happened, we all watched. We wept with deep sobs as the women prepared his body for the tomb. As they wrapped the cloth around his body I was in a deep despair that I have never felt before. I was physically tired from weeping…
How could this be? How could Jesus die? Oh, sure, he made references to it happening, but I just assumed it was one more of his teachings that I didn’t quite grasp. Only now he wasn’t here to explain it to me further.
After falling asleep Friday night out of sheer exhaustion, I spent a tense Saturday with the other brothers. Would the Romans come after us next? What about the Pharisees and Sadducees? Having gotten rid of Jesus, they would flex their power and kill us, too. There was no doubt about that.

I threw open the door. “Are you crazy? Stop yelling, the soldiers will hear you and arrest us all.”
“He’s alive! Jesus is alive!”
What? This lady has lost it! Jesus is dead, I saw it with my own eyes.
She is babbling some nonsense about an empty tomb, grave clothes left behind. She has really lost it. I wonder if her demons came back to her.
I shut the door behind her and took a deep breath. Jesus, rising from the dead? She is bonkers!
But maybe…
