Precision
Exodus 25:8
Have the people of Israel build me a holy sanctuary so I can live among them.
Do you realize how precise God must be? Scientists say that if the earth was positioned even centimeters differently it could not sustain life.
Our blood cells are perfectly shaped to flow easily through our veins and not clog doing it.
In Exodus chapter 25, God lays out for Moses the plans for the Ark of the Covenant and the temple.
He didn’t just eyeball it. “Now, Moses, I want you to get a whole mess of wood and some rocks. We is gonna build a temple!”
No, the plans were precise. So many gold rings, curtains of this size and color. Everything was planned to the nth degree. All of this precision for God’s house among the Israelites.
If God planned this much on an object, can you imagine the plans he has for us? God didn’t send his son to die for an ark, he sent Jesus to die for us. To atone for us.
How much more valuable to God are we, the people his son died for?
Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
Put your faith in God and his plans for you. He has put a lot of thought into them!
