Replaced by rocks?

Luke 19:40
He replied, “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!”

One Sunday morning my Grandpa, Rev. Bill Brewer, had me pass out rocks to people as they came into church. I thought it was a bad idea. Why give people ammo?

He read this morning’s Scripture and then held the rock up for the church to see. Then he said through tears, “There is no way I am going to let this rock take my place worshipping God!”

That rock was a great reminder that we need to praise God, not just for his gifts to us, but who he is! Why not take some time right now to let God know how thankful you are? If you don’t, try listening for the rocks around you to take your place!
