Seeking

Luke 12:31. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.

I need to record a Bible study this morning, but I couldn’t find the iPhone I use as a camera. I looked everywhere, and in a 31’ RV that shouldn’t be that hard!

Before I could record I needed the phone. Sure, I could have found another way to get around it, but the quality wouldn’t be as good.

That’s what Jesus was teaching in today’s passage. Find the important things first. If you don’t quality suffers.

There is a good reason to seek God before blessings. If you haven’t matured in God to handle the blessings he wants to give you, you will probably mess everything up. The quality suffers.

So dig into God, read your Bible, pray, make the changes in your life that you need to make. Then, when God’s blessings come, you will be ready to enjoy them fully.
