Sing It!
Psalms 66:16 Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will tell you what he did for me.
If they ever release a Psalms Greatest Hits album, today’s verse would have to be included. This is part of a Psalm that was written to be sung to the Lord.
It also works to show us how we can reach out with the glorious message of God’s grace. Look at what it says, “Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will tell you what he did for me.”
So many Christians worry about how to tell their friends and family about Jesus. Psalm 66 gives us the answer! Notice that the Psalm doesn’t say to tell them about theology, or ask the, in for a Bible Study. It merely says, tell them what God has done for you.
You Don’t need a degree in theology to share God’s love and grace. You don’t need a pulpit or an altar call with twenty choruses of “Just As I Am.” You must need to tell folks how God has changed your life.
As much as it pains me to say it, your message of God’s grace in your life will be greater than any sermon I will ever preach.
So, sing it out! Sing it loud, sing it proud, and tell everybody what God has done!
